I am happy to announce that after being awarded by the Sibelius Academy foundation, with a “Research expenses” grant,
and by the Sibelius Academy with a research position for the next 3 years,  I have now been selected as one of the 2021 Kone foundation PhD grantees.

I should not forget to acknowledge that this year my work has also been supported by both:

  • TAIKE (The Center for the Promotion of the Arts) supporting the content production of my research’s youtube channel
  • UNIARTS (The rectory of the University of the Arts Helsinki) supporting my Woodwind Research Laboratory (located in Etelä-Haaga)

With 2020 coming to an end, in retrospect, the encouragement and support I have received, from the Academy and the Finnish civil society, after only one year in Finland, is more than I could ever ask for.

In closing, because all the wonderful people I have met in Finland are too many to mention, I would extend my thanks to my Research supervisor Kristiina Ilmonen, in the hopes that this acknowledgement will echo through all of the Sibelius academy & Uniarts community, Foundations and Public institutions, Colleagues and Friends in Finland.
