I have just been introduced to the SARC – Sonic Arts Research Center – The Queen’s University of Belfast.
Zexuan Qiao has been kind to share his knowledge of 3D printing. Coming to his Doctoral research home, after he and his supervisor Dr Simon Waters visited my home – The Sibelius Academy in Helsinki – is the closing of the first chapter.
Networking and collaborating on our Doctoral research, mine on the Baltic Sea bagpipes, and Zexuan’s on the bagpipes of the borders of Scotland, has been highly enriching and very productive.
After my first experiences with resin printing, I have now learned more about filament printing with Zexuan at the SARC.
Now it’s back to Helsinki and putting the knowledge to practice.
Thank you Zexuan and Simon for all you have shared.
